As you know, Javra Software is based in three locations - the Netherlands, Portugal, and Nepal. We would like to introduce you to the vibrant team responsible for keeping our offices up and running. Let's dive into the backgrounds of our Office Managers, explore their perspectives, and understand how they shape our workplaces in these dynamic locations.

In the Netherlands office we have Kim Eskes.

Her career kicked off in the fast-paced environment of the Zuidas, Amsterdam's financial district, where over 12 years she honed her skills as an Office Manager and HR professional in the legal sector.

However, as life often nudges us toward new paths, she decided to shift gears and seek a role that aligned more closely with her values. This led her to the Dutch Foundation for the Disabled Children (NSGK), where she served as an all-encompassing Office cum Project Support.

In fact, working with this organisation provided her with a fulfilling experience that highlighted the importance of engagement and consideration for others in society, a principle that resonates deeply with her. Today, she finds herself at Javra Software, which for her combines the dynamism of a technology-driven company with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact. The company's support for the Shanti Pant Foundation caught her attention, as it reflects their commitment to contributing to meaningful causes around the world.

On a personal note, Kim and her family moved from the hustle and bustle of the city to the quieter zone of Culemborg over a year ago. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors with her boys. On the weekends, Kim can often be found in yoga classes.

Another curious thing about Kim is that she also loves creating things with her hands. In fact, this passion led her to set up Kinderatelier Op Weg, a children's art studio in Culemborg, where little explorers between the ages of 1.5 and 7 go on a journey of exploration, discovery, and chaos, learning about the world through art, science, and play. When Kim has some spare time, she also enjoys manning stands at festivals or giving workshops in schools.

For the Lisbon office, we have Maria Marques.

Maria has a degree in English and French Literature and a Major in English Studies and a rich background that seamlessly blends her passion for literature, language, and community involvement.

Maria began her career as a secretary, but her story took a fascinating turn at the age of 30 when she immersed herself in the vibrant culture of Cape Verde for 5 years, dedicating her time to teaching English at the local school.

Beyond her work in the classroom, Maria has become a beacon of support for the community, acting as a translator in court sessions and providing valuable English training to hotel staff.

Outside of work, Maria João enjoys the simple pleasures of life. She loves to cycle along nature trails, immerse herself in the pages of classic novels and channel her creativity through sewing. One of her passions is travelling the world and meeting different people and cultures.

Yet, amidst her worldly adventures, her family remains the unwavering source of happiness.

At our Nepal office, you can find Saroj Bajracharya.

Saroj a skilled professional with a diverse range of skills and passions beyond numbers and spreadsheets.
